Let's get social!

Hi out there! Isn't it crazy how long the regular week after a short week feels?! I have been working long days every single day this week, and I'm sure that will continue through tomorrow. I'm thrilled because I'm taking a trip home this weekend for some much-needed family and recharge time. While I've taken a slower approach to blogging lately, I'm still enjoying my other social media outlets related to this fun little blog. Y'all are such a blessing to me and this blog has given me a wonderful thing to look forward to and enjoy while I'm going through one of life's rough patches.  

Now- to the meat and potatoes for today. If I had to pick a favorite social media outlet, I would have to pick Instagram. I'm an extremely visual person, and I love the carefully curated shots that I see on my feed every day. People are so skilled and take such care with their photos! I really appreciate it. While I do my best to take nice photos to share with y'all, I'm still learning to remember to take my phone out to take photos in the first place! I get caught up in my experiences, I mostly forget to even snap a photo until afterwards! Shame on me. Hopefully putting it out there will help me stay accountable and do a better job! :-)

What do you like to see on your social media feeds? I know different people gravitate towards different themes and styles, so let me know what you enjoy! I'm so curious to get to know my readers better. I know that I personally enjoy a mix of vibrant, bright colors and soothing, minimalistic photos within my feed. My Current Favorite Instagram Accounts

Happy Friday, y'all! Shortly after starting this blog, I created an Instagram account to capture moments in between my posts. I have a separate personal account, but was truly unaware of the inspiration and beauty overflowing from some of the accounts out there. Wowza! I wanted to share with y'all a couple of my favorites from my feed. Many of these are popular bloggers that you may already follow, but be sure to check them out if you come across anyone new!

@kellyinthecity This Chicago-based blogger brightens up my feed, both literally and figuratively, with crisp photos. She shares a variety of gorgeous shots with bold hues and great styling. I absolutely love when her adorable pup noodle makes appearances! Follow along for colorful outfit inspirations!

@evelyn_henson She has got to be one of my favorite artists, and I WILL own an original painting one day! I love her floral paintings and spunky prints. Her feed includes little sketches and paintings that take you "behind the palette" as she says. Follow along for beautiful and bright art.

@lemonstripes This Connecticut lifestyle blogger shares beautifully-styled photos that maintain a clean, high-exposure feel. She shares a wide variety of snapshots and it's so fun being along for the ride. I've been addicted to her glimpses of the beach during this cold winter! @travelandleisure Need I say more? This magazine has the BEST destination shots. I wish I was in there enjoying all of the exotic and luxurious stops. Follow along for breath-taking shots that make you want to plan your next get away.

@sweetsouthernprep Ashley was my first taste of the blogging world back in 2010. I have been following along ever since, and I love love LOVE her blog! She is so candid and has the most adorable family. Follow along for cute kiddos, great style and the best sales/promo insight!

@theodorefitzpatrick Teddy belongs to Carly of The College Prepster and he leads a pretty fabulous life. The cute puppy snaps help to satisfy my puppy fever and make me laugh. Whoever does the hashtags for his account is spot on! Follow along for witty captions and cute puppy curls!

@mackenziehoran She posts a mix of personal shots and items from her shop, Design Darling. Loads of pink and navy- styled to perfection- are in store for your feed. I love the attention to detail and happy vibe her shots contain. Follow along for bright shots filled with inspiration.

@healthfullyeverafter Let me just start by saying YUM. These predominately white shots are bursting with healthy foods and words. I love the calmness emitted from her photos. Follow along for beautifully styled food and recipes!

@dcgirlinpearls Lauren adds vivid and happy photos to my feed. She posts a mix of different subjects- all paired with witty caption details. I love her preppy style and delicious cocktail recipes! Follow along for colorful and girly photos!
