Sold Out Gifts

Thankfully, I haven't had a ton of "outs" for this month. I've been too busy! Maybe that's an out in itself. I'm going to be reeling things back over the next week-ish to be fully present with my family over the holidays. I'm always a fan of going totally unplugged for the holidays, but I'm not sure that is fully realistic for me this year. So if this is the last time I see you, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

In case you've missed them, here are my favorite posts from December!

What's been 'in vs out' for you over the last month?

  1. I love the idea of going unplugged as often as possible! It's nice to be IN the moment and not thinking about social media and such!

  2. I swear everything I want is now sold out in my size and I am crushed!!!

  3. I will be taking off Christmas Eve and Day to spend with my family as well :)
It'll be a nice little break.

  4. I love playing tourist in my own city. It's so fun! Why not take advantage of your hometown!

  5. YES on the rain. What the heck is happening?! Being busy is both a blessing and a curse. With the short list of negatives, it sounds like its been a blessing! :)

  6. Ahh, come wrap my presents! I am horrible at it and will pay you in compliments and wine. Any suggestions on where to find cute paper? I'm going to pick some up after work!

  7. I definitely did some last minute shopping this year! And I was so mad about the rain today! I was going to take my puppy to the dog park, but with all the mud, she'd definitely start digging!

  8. Ohh good question! Love the in of being a tourist in your own city - that's such a good idea!

A definite 'in' is sleeping more, HA. I am so much happier when I do!
A definite 'out' is sweating the small stuff :)

    Love it, lady!

    Have a great holiday!

  9. How did I not realize you were from DC!? Last minute shopping and warm weather are sooo in, it doesn't even feel like christmas!

  10. Sold out gifts make me so mad! Don't let me order something an then tell me two days later it's sold out!

  11. I try to unplug for the most part when I am celebrating with family and friends too. I agree that this season has been so busy it's hard to figure out what my "outs" even are!

  12. YES we've been having so much rain! It's driving me nuts... it's December. What is going on here?!?

  13. I actually love wrapping presents too -- it's the finding all of my wrapping supplies that's the hard part! :)

  14. I enjoy wrapping gifts as well, it's so much fun to decorate them and make them just right :) But I'm also with you on the sold out gifts...I bought my husband a canoe, but it took forever to find just the right one that he wanted in a store where it was available!

  16. Warm weather is so coveted here!
    Merry Christmas!

  17. Wrapping presents can definitely be fun - I always love to do it while watching one of the Hallmark Christmas movies!
